Denmark 2008: Skoda Fabia and Toyota Aygo most popular

I missed the boat when Danish Full Year 2008 figures were published so I only have the models ranking over the first 8 months of the year. If you have access to Full Year data please get in touch!

The Skoda Fabia, helped by the new generation, takes the lead of the Danish market with 4,240 sales (3.9%). It is followed by the Toyota Aygo at 3,902 sales and 3.6% (+19 spots over its 2007 ranking!) and the Peugeot 207 at 3,513 units and 3.2%.

Excellent performance of the Kia Cee’d, 5th with 3,278 sales and 3% of the market. The Citroen C1 is up to #7 and the Peugeot 107 is #17, which means the three ‘Kolin sisters’ (Aygo, C1, 107) are within the Top 20! These 3 cars are badge-engineered versions of the same model, produced in Kolin in Czech Republic.
