Poland 2008: Skoda Octavia closes in on Fabia

The Polish market is up 9% in 2008 at 317,310 registrations, and the Top 4 best selling models stay unchanged. The Skoda Fabia leads the way for the 4th consecutive year, however its margin over big sister the Skoda Octavia has reduced dramatically, from 4,740 in 2007 to just 358 units this year…

Below the two Skodas, the Toyota Yaris, Ford Focus and Fiat Punto all progress albeit slower than the market and therefore see their market share go down slightly at 3.9%, 3.4% and 2.7% respectively. Notice the arrival in the Top 10 of the Kia Cee’d (#8 with 7,756 sales at +34%) and Renault Clio (#9 with 7,202 sales and +36%).
