Spain October 2010: Duster in Top 10

It’s a very weak month for car sales in Spain at 61,366 units, a drop of 38% compared to October 2009. The year-to-date figure is however still ahead of 2009 by 9% at 848,555 registrations.

The best performer this month is the Dacia Duster. Doing even better than in France, it racks up 1,228 sales to come at #10 with 2% market share. Another outstanding feat by the Romanian brand.

The Seat Ibiza stays on top at 3.4% ahead of the Renault Megane (3.1%) and the Nissan Qashqai (3%). 207, Golf and Astra follow.

Other strong performers this month are the Ford Kuga in 20th (852 sales), the Mitsubishi ASX in 44th (468 sales) and the Nissan Juke in 45th (448 sales).
