UK January 2011: Focus leads ahead of new gen launch
The 2011 Ford Focus will be available to the public in March.
The English car market is down for the seventh month in a row, at -11% in January with 128,811 registrations. The Ford Focus is #1 for the first time since last May with 7,582 sales and a very strong 5.9% share, boosted by discounts on the outgoing model and perhaps the start of dealership deliveries of the new generation (pictured above).
The Ford Fiesta is #2, followed by the Vauxhall Astra & Corsa, and the VW Golf. The Nissan Qashqai closes up the Top 10 albeit with a weak 1.6% share. Full Top 10 Ranking Table below.
