Turkey November 2010: Symbol #1, passes Accent year-to-date

The Turkish car market is euphoric this month at +182% year-on-year and 50,061 registrations, bringing the year-to-date figure to 410,323, up 31%.

The Renault Symbol, #1 in November at 5.8%, is now also the best selling car in Turkey year-to-date with 23,558 sales and 5.7%, passing the Hyundai Accent (23,174 and 5.6%).

Excellent performance of the Toyota Corolla, #2 in November at 5.3%: it climbs back to #4 year-to-date (4.3%). The Renault Fluence is back on the podium with 4.6% this month, very close to its 4.8% YTD share (#3 also). The new VW Jetta is up 4 spots in 7th, like the Mercedes C Class in 14th.
