In Spain Ford sells the old Focus yet.
Hi Pedro,
Thanks very much for this info. I realise the new Focus’ official launch in Europe is in March 2011, however the sudden surge of sales for the Focus in Spain in February looks to me like it is due to deliveries of the new generation into dealerships. Sales figures are traditionally sales to dealerships, not to end consumers so this is a typical pattern. I may be wrong, but it looks like the most logical explanation for this Feb figure, along possibly with strong price cuts on the old model. It would be interesting to know whether Ford has run any promos on the old gen Focus in February in Spain?
cheers
Matt
