Thailand Full Year 2010: Toyota Hilux leads with 144,000 sales
No surprises in Thailand: the Toyota Hilux is the best-selling vehicle in the country with 144,190 sales, ahead of the Isuzu D-Max at 133,766. Both pick-ups add up to nearly 278,000 registrations, or around 35% of the total Thai car market!
The Toyota Vios is the best-selling passenger car at 67k units, followed by the Honda City at 49k units and the Toyota Corolla Altis at 38k. Being the world’s pick-up heaven, the Thai market had to have two more of those in the Top 10: the Nissan Frontier at #7 (23,844 sales) and the Mitsubishi Triton at #9 (20,344).
Two new models climb into the Top 10 this year in Thailand: the Mazda2 is 8th with 22,537 sales, and the Nissan March is #10 at 18,367. Many thanks to Chips Yap from Motor Trader Malaysia for sharing the figures! Full Top 10 Ranking Table below.
