Greece January 2011: Corsa #1, C3, Scirocco and Juke up
The Greek car market is still in recession, down 63% this month at 9,740 registrations. Recently refreshed, the Opel Corsa takes the lead with a very strong 6.6% market share and 647 sales, followed by the Toyota Yaris (6.3%) and VW Polo (5.2%), also very solid. Opel leads the compact category as well with the Astra in 4th at 357 sales (3.7%) ahead of the Toyota Auris (3.5%).
Good performances of the Citroen C3 up to #8, the VW Scirocco, 3rd best selling VW behind the Polo and Golf at #24, and the Nissan Juke up to #25 with 120 sales and 1.2% share.
